Dorobanti
Dorobanti could easily be described as the heart of the north center when thinking about rental opportunities in Bucharest. Nestled between Aviatorilor, Floreasca, Primaverii and the beautiful 'capital streets' (Capitale) its highly popular with new residents for many reasons. The area is teeming with coffee shops, bars and restaurants, there are also supermarkets and high end designer stores all within minutes walk of each other. The rental opportunities are also diverse, on the one hand you have apartments with one bedroom in period blocks which have been completely renovated and on the other you have newly built high-end blocks, large historical villas and everything in between. These stately homes, originally belonging to important families in Bucharest, have in many cases become the home of government institutions, embassies or company headquarters giving an extra dimension to the local population. The district is one of the oldest traffic routes in Bucharest which is still reflected today in the excellent transport links in and out of the city. Pipera and the city center are just two metro stops away (in opposite directions) and buses from Dorobanti service many parts of the city. Since its inception, the area was designed to be exclusive and it remains that way.
