Iancu Nicolae

Iancu Nicolae, although not a district in its own right, has so many rental opportunities it merits its own section. It's well known as a residential area for families for a couple of reasons. Firstly, most of the international schools are in the area including the American, British and French high schools amongst many others. Secondly, a large percentage of the properties in the area are set up for renting. Most of the properties available for rent are large, spacious houses with a private garden and often a swimming pool. Very popular also are the residential compounds of which there are many, Stejarii, Ibiza, Zodiac, Oxford Gardens, Green Gate, Zenith, Baneasa Residential Park, Sunflower to name but a few. These are often preferred by expatriates with families because they are a good starting point for them to make friends and for the children to play outside in a nice, safe environment. In terms of transportation around and towards the city most people use a car for convenience although there are some buses serving the location. The area has several supermarkets, restaurants and Jolie Ville shopping mall very close and a little further away is the largest shopping mall in Bucharest, Baneasa shopping city.
