Kiseleff
Kiseleff runs north from Piata Victoriei (Victory Square) as far as Piata Presei Libere (Free Press Square) but rental opportunities only go as far as the Arcul de Triumf. The boulevard itself is beautifully tree-lined with wide pedestrian walkways and cycle paths making it very popular with Bucharestians especially as the popular parks of Kiseleff and Herastrau border much of it. Besides the parks, the boulevard is home to many museums including the natural history museum, the museum of the Romanian peasant and the beautifully arranged village museum in the grounds of Herastrau park. Residents of Kiseleff also benefit from the wealth of conveniences in its surrounding neighbourhood, between both Piata Victoriei and Ion Mihalache Boulevard, you have restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and boutiques bringing added value to the area. The rental opportunities are vast ranging from one bedroom apartments in period blocks to new apartments in recently completed residential buildings right through to renovated pre-war villas giving the prospective resident much to choose from. The area is highly suited to people who want to live in an up-market area but who also want the day-to-day life conveniences on hand. It also benefits from great transport links with buses in and out of the city and metro connections with the transport hub of Piata Victoriei on the doorstep.
